About Tara
Drawing from over 15 years in the interior design industry with an emphasis on design, staging, and paint consultation, Tara strives to exceed client expectations. When meeting with clients she loves to ask questions to uncover their true aesthetic; whether they gravitate towards modern classic, farmhouse chic, urban boho or transitional. Tara meets their unique vision for the project and has a sharp eye for detail.
Tara holds a business degree from Northeastern University in Boston and attended New York School of Interior Design for their certification program. She has worked on local shows in New York, including the Kips Bay Showhouse, the Scarsdale Women’s Club Showhouse, and the Holiday House in Manhattan. She offers a level of taste and attention to detail that can be sophisticated, eclectic or down to earth. She treasures the opportunity to design that special space that her clients will enjoy for years to come, Tara loves what she does, and it shows.
Tara took both photos here of the Hudson River in New York. A very special area to her, as she grew up only a few minutes away. She has always been a lover of water - whether its the Hudson, the Pacific or Atlantic oceans or waterfalls in Litchfield county Connecticut.
Being a creative and highly visual person, she adores photography as well. Her family roots come from a creative vein, starting with her grandfather as a builder, her dad's mother owning a kitchen and bath store, her mother being artistic and crafty and an uncle attending school for architecture. All of this has a profound and inspirational effect on Tara's professional work.
